Linda Stotts formed R&S Designs, LLC in 1989 and
is the Manager and sole owner. R&S Designs is a full service interior
decorating solution company, currently serving the Boerne and San Antonio
Area. For the last 19 years Linda worked in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan
Area and was headquartered in Vienna, Virginia, employing several design
assistants and other staff.
In August of 2007, Linda decided to return to her
home state, Texas, where she was born and raised. She wanted to “come
home to Texas”. For many years of her adult life she lived
in Houston, but when making the move back to Texas she and her
husband decided to reside in the Hill Country. Other than
wanting to come “home”, many factors played a roll
in her return. Her mother and father live in the Dallas area and she
needed to be close to them to take care of them in their latter years.
Her brother and his family also live in the Dallas area. She also still
had many close friends in the San Antonio and Houston area. Her roots
were in Texas and that is where she belonged.
Linda has been going to the International High Point
Market in High Point, North Carolina for the last 19 years where she
as a decorator establishes accounts to buy direct and therefore has many
of the furniture lines and accessories available to order at discounted
prices. She has a fully stocked workroom of fabrics and is prepared to
handle most of her client needs as it pertains to window treatment, along
with specialized fabrics for furniture, etc. in her office. Her capability
to obtain furniture and accessory lines direct are extensive and readily
available for purchase from her. This means her clients do not need to
rely on any retail sources or other contacts. When necessary
she has access to other furniture, accessories and fabrics which come
from many parts of the world plus San Antonio, Dallas and Houston.
Linda is an Allied Member of ASID (American Society
of Interior Design) in Texas. She is dedicated to not only quality design
but professional business practices and procedures as a member of ASID.
She is well known for her strong sense of color, creative design and
tasteful mix of styles, paying great attention to detail and the expressed
desires and budgets of her clients.
Linda’s work has been published
in over eighteen national magazines plus in Home
and Design Magazine for Washington, which also services
Maryland and Virginia. She has been featured in the 2004 Better
Homes and Gardens New Decorating Book and
has donated her design time and talent by creating rooms of creativity
and beauty for the benefit charitable organizations. Linda Stotts has
also been a guest speaker for a variety of presentations representing
the interior design community sharing her professional success in design
and design procedures and practices.
Linda is looking forward to a continued
successful career in Texas. She would love the opportunity to be of service
to those needing her talents in decorating rooms or a single room. Her
talent also extends far past the capability of decorating. She assists
the soon to be owners of new homes or remodeling projects from the beginning
of its process to its completion. Her latest project, which required
three years to complete, involved her being responsible for a complicated
and tedious process of assisting with the home design, build out, decorating
and full implementation and monitorization of the move-in process and
all follow-up. This project was for a 10,000 square foot home in Park
City, Utah, which required travel from Washington D.C. to Park City,
Utah, on a regular basis plus long distance project management from her
Virginia office.
Linda is available to participate with builder/client
selections for new homes so that all purchases result in satisfaction
for both the builder and the client. The process can be tedious and somewhat
overwhelming, but can be easily accomplished with the assistance of Linda
and within the specific budgets. She can offer other choices which in
some cases may exceed the builder’s budgets but only when requested
by the client and agreed to by the builder.
